The Global Talent loans program https://issbc.org/our-services/fcrloans provides low-interest rate loans to immigrants with PR status and Canadian citizens who had some post-secondary/vocational training from outside of Canada.
ISSBC can cover all the training costs for MELT 1 and Airbrake plus ICBC tests and medical exam costs for up to $15,000. The monthly payment is $37 per month for a $15,000 loan if your students take a 4-year loan with the first 16 months interest only. The loan payment amount will be smaller depending on the actual loan amount. The first loan payment starts 30 days after they receive the bank deposit and the loan can be approved in 4 business days after the loan application is completed.
