About the Surrey Location Office
Surrey is where Tricon Driving School started, and it's still our largest training yard. Real tractor-trailers, real air-brake equipment, and instructors who've been teaching here for years — not a franchise script.
The Surrey location runs our full slate of commercial programs: Class 1 MELT, Class 3, the air brake course and Code 15 endorsement, and individual lessons and pre-employment road tests. Standard car driving lessons are not taught here — those currently run from our Duncan/Nanaimo location on Vancouver Island.

Class 1 (MELT)
Full Mandatory Entry-Level Training for a Class 1 commercial licence, including mountain driving on the Coquihalla.

Not at Surrey. Standard Class 5 car driving lessons currently run from our Duncan/Nanaimo location on Vancouver Island. Our Surrey yard runs the commercial programs — Class 1 MELT, Class 3, air brake certification and individual lessons.

We recommend calling or messaging first so we can have an instructor ready for you, but you're welcome to drop by the Surrey yard during open hours to ask questions or look around.
