Serving Chilliwack from our Langley yard
Chilliwack sits at the eastern edge of the Fraser Valley, with a solid base of agriculture, forestry and trucking work — plus easy access toward the Coquihalla and Fraser Canyon for drivers headed into the BC interior. We don't have a campus inside Chilliwack itself, so Chilliwack students train at our Langley yard — about 35–45 minutes away via Highway 1, give or take traffic.
It's the same instructors, the same ICBC-approved MELT curriculum, and the same trucks that Langley and Surrey students use — nothing about training out of Langley is a "lesser" version of Tricon.

Chilliwack sits right at the edge of BC's interior driving routes. If your Class 1 work will take you up the Coquihalla, through the Fraser Canyon or into winter mountain conditions, pair your MELT training with our Mountain Driving Training course before you're out there in a loaded truck.
Getting to the Langley yard
Most Chilliwack students come in via Highway 1 westbound — a straightforward, mostly highway drive. It's the longest commute of any of our Fraser Valley service areas, but ask any current Chilliwack student: it's a worthwhile trip for a licence that opens up local trucking, construction and delivery work, including routes toward the interior.

Not yet — Chilliwack students train at our Langley yard, about 35–45 minutes away via Highway 1. It's the furthest of our Fraser Valley service areas, but plenty of Chilliwack students make the drive for the same ICBC-approved MELT training and instructors as everyone else.
What programs can Chilliwack students take at Tricon?
The full lineup: Class 1 MELT, Class 3 professional truck training, the air brake (Code 15) course, individual lessons and pre-employment road tests, and Class 5 car driving lessons.
