A third Tricon campus, on the Island
Tricon Driving School has trained commercial drivers in Surrey and Langley for years. We're now opening a third location on Vancouver Island, serving Duncan, Nanaimo and the surrounding Cowichan Valley — the same instructors and the same standards, closer to home for Island residents.
This will be Tricon's first location to offer car driving lessons alongside our commercial truck programs — see car driving lessons for what a Class 5 course covers.

Once open, we expect to serve students from across the Cowichan Valley and up-Island toward Nanaimo — including Ladysmith, Chemainus, Mill Bay and Lake Cowichan. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call and ask — we'd rather tell you honestly than have you guess.
In the meantime, our Surrey and Langley yards remain open 9am to 9pm every day for anyone able to travel to the mainland sooner.

Will Duncan/Nanaimo replace the Surrey or Langley locations?
No. Surrey and Langley continue running exactly as they do now. Duncan/Nanaimo is a third, additional location for Vancouver Island students, not a replacement.
