Serving Richmond from our Surrey yard
Richmond sits on one of the busiest freight corridors in the Lower Mainland — YVR, the warehouses and distribution centres around the airport, and the trucking routes that move freight through them all draw on the same local labour pool. A Class 1 or Class 3 licence is a direct route into that work without relocating. We don't have a campus inside Richmond itself, so Richmond students train at our Surrey yard — about 20–25 minutes away via Highway 99 and the Alex Fraser Bridge, give or take traffic.
It's the same instructors, the same ICBC-approved MELT curriculum, and the same trucks that Surrey and Langley students use — nothing about training out of Surrey is a "lesser" version of Tricon. And if you just need a car licence, our Class 5 car lessons run out of the same yard.

Most Richmond students come in via Highway 99 and the Alex Fraser Bridge — a quick, mostly highway drive that's second nature if you already commute past the airport for work. If you're weighing whether the commute is worth it, ask any current Richmond student: it's a short trip for a licence that opens up local trucking, warehouse and delivery work you can work close to home.

Not yet — Richmond students train at our Surrey yard, about 20–25 minutes away via Highway 99 and the Alex Fraser Bridge. Many of our current Class 1 and Class 3 students commute from Richmond and the airport/warehouse corridor for exactly this reason.
